Mother's Day Dining Experience

When eating in the Congo, you are in for a great surprise. With moambe as the national dish, a rich combination of Cassava leaves and groundnut; this is an opportunity to explore the unique specialties like the white elephant drink (consisting of milk, rum, and coconut), and fresh fruit salads.
The Congo has a rich social and culinary history in relation to Belgium, France, and Portugal. Although the cooking style has been preserved for hundreds of years, Congolese cuisine adopted new ingredients during its contact with Europeans.
